Description: Rti w/ rcon16-0068 eight geotechnical ~ 8" diameter borings within the roadway as generally shown on the site plan. the exact location of the borings within the roadway will be determined based on existing underground utilities. we will attempt to put the borings in the center of a traveled lane to avoid the wheel path. once the explorations are complete the borings will be backfilled with cement and bentonite per washington department of ecology requirements. the holes will be patched with black dyed concrete as this is a city of tacoma project and city maintenance will provide the permanent patch. work on 38th street is required by wsdot to be completed during the weekend as it is an i-5 alternative route. the dates of the work has not been set as we do not have this permit in hand yet. this work is being completed for the city of tacoma with erik wood 253-502-2171 as our city contact.
