On May 10th, 2015, at approximately 11 AM, a resident called the Police Department reported stolen items. TWO pistols and a SLR type camera were reported to be taken from a vehicle near the area of the 2600 block of South Street.

On Monday, 02/16/2015, an Officer from the Alvin Police Department was dispatched to the 2800 block of Mockingbird Ln in reference to a Burglary of a Habitation. Upon the Officers arrival it was found that an unknown suspect had broken into the home and removed Copper Wire within the home. The information for the case was gathered and report was written documenting the Officers findings.

"On Sunday, 2 March 2014 at approximately 12:17am an Alvin PD officer was conducting residential patrol in the Deer Trail subdivision. The officer saw 2 males and a female sitting in a car with no lights on in the roadway. During the investigation the driver, Angelina Dedmon, 24 of Mesquite, Tx., was found to have an outstanding warrant for her arrest from Dallas County S.O. Dedmon was arrested on the warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 2, a Felony. During a search of the car a small quantity of marijuana and hash oil were found, resulting in Dedmon also being charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 2-A, M/B. Dedmon claimed the drugs as hers and the other subjects were released without charges."
