Description: Jaime dimmick residential re-roofing1. we will bring in our own dumpster and all layers of the existing roofing will be removed down to the wood deck and hauled away.2. the existing plank sheathing will receive new 7/16 osb to serve as new substrate.3. a 12 strip of ice & water protective underlayment will be installed to the wood deck at all eave edges.4. new 90 degree drip edge metal (color of your choice) will be installed at roof edges (rakes and eaves).5. a 3' strip of ice & water protective underlayment will be installed at all eave edges and in all valleys. note: a full layer of this protective underlayment will be installed over the entire low slope roofing section located on the backside of the residence.6. a synthetic shingle underlayment will be nailed to the remainder of the wood deck.7. new limited lifetime pabco premier architectural style asphalt shingles will be installed on the main section of the home in accordance with manufacturers specifications. the new shingles will be fastened with six (not four) nails (not staples) per shingle. all nails to be galvanized, large-head roofing nails.8. new galvanized metal flashings will be installed at pipe/vent flues that penetrate the roof deck.9. the existing swamp cooler will receive all new proper flashing. (this flashing to include: (1) new galvanized step shingle, (2) new l-metal, (3) new saddle metal, and (4) new kynar colorklad counter-flashing (color of your choice) to be installed as secondary flashing as necessary.)10. six new metal turtle vents (to be in a color to coordinate with the newly installed roofing) will be installed along the backside of the primary roof ridges to allow for appropriate attic ventilation.11. roof ridges will be covered with new flat pre-cut hip and ridge shingles.12. all roofing debris will be removed from the premises and the job site will be left neat and clean.**involved in the re-roofing is the removal of the existing roof-strapped rain-gutters. we will be installing new roof-strapped seamless aluminum rain-gutters in these same areas (included is the installation of any necessary elbows, corners, returns, and downspouts), please discard of existing during re-roofing**don't touch the garage!**full i&w on the lower addition roofing section located on the backside of the residence
