Description: Residential re-roof- w/ no change to pitch/ removing existing shingles and replacing w/ same type/no other work being done/all work must comply with the udc/ must comply with historic coa as approved/. **se** materials and methods of application used for re-covering or replacing an existing roof covering shall comply with the requirements of 2015 irc chapter 9 roof assemblies to include drip edge (905.2.8.5) and metal flashing as required by code. **se** refund policy: a $50.00 administration fee will be assessed. refund forms must be completed and signed by customer. refunds will not be issued if work was performed under the permit and/or if permit was issued over 30 days for trade permits and 90 days for building permits. ***effective january 1, 2013 all refund request will require a copy of the paid receipt. *** notice: all permits expire after 180 days with no activity. ref: irc section r105.5 r105.5 expiration. every permit issued shall become invalid unless the work authorized by such permit is commenced within 180 days after its issuance, or if the work authorized by such permit is suspended or abandoned for a period of 180 days after the time the work is commenced. the building official is authorized to grant, in writing, one or more extensions of time, for periods not more than 180 days each. the extension shall be requested in writing and justifiable cause demonstrated.
