On 08-12-15 at approximately 1826 hrs Alvin Police Officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of W. Sidnor St. to assist Animal Control with an aggressive person. The Officers arrived on scene and discovered that the Animal Control Officer was grabbed by a agitated female. The Animal Control Officer declined to pursue criminal charges and only wanted PD to stand by while the citation was issued for the owners dog being out.

On Wednesday, 07-08-2015, an Alvin Officer was dispatched to 1000 block of W Sidnor St. in reference to Assist by Law. Upon arrival, the Officer made contact with the victim who was unresponssive and not breathing. The Officer assisted EMS during the incident, and a report was later created and forwarded to the Alvin Police Department Criminal Investigation Division in the hospice-attended death of Arvie Dean Bass, 79, of Alvin.

On 06-13-15, at about 4:12PM, I was dispatched to 616 W Sidnor St, Alvin TX in reference to burglary of vehicle. The complainant had his vehicle broken into and his tablet taken from the vehicle. The tablet was located and returned to the complainant a short time later.
