Description: Sr54930 4/25/201612:10 pmarbors at carrollwood has not provided us as tenants with ample pest control. there has been a cockroach infestation in this unit from day 1 of moving into the apartment. neighboring tenants informed us that the unit had been vacant for quite some time prior to our occupancy. we have previously reported arbors at carrollwood for a code violation as the ceiling in the external building corridor had a gaping hole which had not been repaired for months and birds were flying in and out of it.there are many cockroaches and silverfish within the unit.we are not only terrified to go to sleep at night but also are awoken from our sleep with baby nymph roaches crawling on our bodies or go to take showers and find a roach the length of a thumb in the tub, open a cupboard and a roach jumps on our hands, and consistently have to scan the ceilings and corners of the unit for lurking roaches once the sun goes down. the worst part of it all is not only getting dressed and finding alive or dead roaches in our clothes and shoes but also, finding roach poop in our kitchen utensils, plates and tupperware.the property manager, kelly lynch offered us out of our lease via email.after accepting her offer which was not presented with additional clauses, she now wants an entire months rent before we leave.we are outraged. there has been serious negligence on the behalf of property maintenance. as tenants, we have been forced to live like this.the pest control has been useless and we are living in an expensive community as if we are in a third world country.also, there are pigeons/some species of birds living/nesting in the ceiling who are constantly heard throughout the day running, flapping their wings and even chirping/squawking. this issue was also addressed and we were advised that a specialist would resolve the issue.we have yet to see the birds removed.we also fear for their well being as we have seen eggs shells on the ground that we believe to have fallen from the roof

Description: Sr31473 10/14/2015since moving into arbor at carrolwood,my partner and i had established that there was an insect infestation that was not presented to us prior to signing the lease. the landlord refuses to handle a roach infestation adequately and it is becoming detrimental to our health and living conditions. written notice has been provided on several occasions. the roof has been eroded as stated. the landlord does not have a date for the gaping hole in the roof the be fixed. the state of the building is the ultimate factor in the creation of the infestation. the pest control staff which the community use will spray once a week which worsens the status of the cockroach infestation.regarding contact melanie mcdowellfirst name melanielast name mcdowellphone number 7869999515mobile number --email address mbw @outlook.com
