On Thursday, June 25, 2015 at approximately 9:37 p.m. an Alvin Police Department Officer conducted a traffic stop on a white, Honda Accord near the intersection of Alta Vista Dr and Highland Dr for running the stop sign at that intersection. Upon investigation the driver of the vehicle, 28-year-old Jose Medrano was found to have no valid Texas driver license and was subsequently taken into custody.
